The Flora Zambesiaca project, part of the larger Plants of the World initiative, is a collaborative effort to catalog and describe the vascular plant species of South-Central Africa. Managed by Kew Gardens, this project contributes to the comprehensive online portal, Plants of the World Online, by providing detailed information on species within the Zambezi basin region.
This three-year project officially ended on the 31st December 2009. Outcomes of the project have been incorporated into a new project called the ADAPPT project.
